Terry J. Holmes

As VP, Network Solutions, Terry is responsible for identifying and engaging municipalities in need of professional analysis of broadband environments, regulatory overviews, asset management strategies and long-term telecommunications planning that incorporates digital inclusion, small cell expansion and alternative wireless landscapes.

Most recently, Mr. Holmes was the Sr. Engineer at Connected Nation, Inc., providing engineering support for Connected Nation and its subsidiaries as it relates to broadband mapping, broadband adoption analysis, in-field, provider performance validations and broadband deployment strategies throughout multiple states. Prior to this role, Terry was the Senior VP of American Telecasting, Inc., a public company with fixed wireless operations in 54 markets throughout the U.S.

Terry has extensive technical and operational experience in cable, wireless, telephony and satellite-centric ecosystems. He has led advanced technology field trials that involved Microsoft, AT&T, WorldCom, Nokia and others. He has also participated in collaborative efforts with divergent entities resulting in FCC regulatory rulings that advanced national wireless broadband deployments.

Throughout his 38-year career in telecommunications, Terry has been a frequent speaker at national and international venues where he addresses operational issues and the value of business relationships.  When not contemplating the dynamics of the IoT, Terry enjoys backpacking in the Rocky Mountains, golfing, and, most importantly; family & friends.
